On June 22, 2020 the Abbotsford Police were called to the parking lot of John Mahoney Park where they investigated the discovery of a deceased male in a vehicle.

Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to the parking lot of John Mahoney Park last night at approximately 7:30 pm for the report of an unresponsive male.  The male was found in the driver’s seat of a white SUV bearing out of province license plates. Emergency services confirmed that the male had been deceased for some time.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, Abbotsford Police Patrol officers arrested a 63-year-old man in relation to drug investigation.  Later the same day, officers executed a search warrant in the 32600 block of Lonsdale Crescent.

AbbyPD investigating motorcycle incident on Old Yale Road

Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to the 31600 block of Old Yale Road at 4:20 pm this evening following reports of a collision involving a single motorcycle.  The driver of the motorcycle has been transported to hospital by BC Ambulance Service for treatment of serious injuries.

Abbotsford school zones back in effect June 1

BC schools are set for a partial re-opening on June 1.  With classes back in session, school zones and reduced speed limits will also be back in effect for Abbotsford drivers.  The school zone speed limit is 30 km/hr between 8 am and 5 pm on days school is in session.
