Abbotsford, BC – July 25th, 2026 – On July 22nd, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., two girls under the age of 10 were playing outside their apartment complex located at 33538 Marshall Road when they were approached by an unknown man who attempted to lure them into his vehicle.

Abbotsford, BC – July 20th, 2026 – Early this morning, just before 2:00 a.m., Abbotsford Police Patrol officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 1 near Cole Road.
Abbotsford, BC – July 17th, 2026 - On July 16th, 2026, at approximately 6:40 a.m., a woman in her 70's was inside a public washroom at Ellwood Park, located in the 31500 block of Maclure Road, when an unknown suspect, believed to be a man, entered the facility and launched an unprovoked assault.

Abbotsford, BC – July 16th, 2026 – The Abbotsford Police Department continues to investigate a single-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. on July 7th, 2026, on Townshipline Road near Gladwin Road, resulting in the death of one person.

Abbotsford, BC – July 9th, 2026 – In April 2025, Abbotsford Police Patrol officers observed a man known to be involved in local drug trafficking operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from driving. Officers followed the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver. During the arrest, officers located illicit drugs and a handgun in his possession.

Abbotsford, BC – June 3rd, 2026 – On May 27th, 2026, 66-year-old Robert Leyen was reported missing to the Abbotsford Police Department. At the time, he was believed to be driving his grey 2009 Ford Ranger. Abbotsford Police investigators immediately initiated an investigation.

Abbotsford, BC – May 21st, 2026 – In January of this year, Patrol officers began investigating a sexual assault reported to have occurred in December 2025 involving a female victim. Due to the nature of the allegations, the investigation was assumed by the AbbyPD Sex Crimes Unit.
