How to Apply

We are not currently accepting applications for the Reserve Program.

Once you have ensured that you meet all of the Applicant minimum requirements, and you want to be considered for the Selection process, please click on the “Continue” link below. It will take you to our online application process, where you can create an account and upload your resume and any other applicable documents.

Please do not complete the online application process if you do not meet all of the Applicant minimum requirements.

Completing the online application does not guarantee entry into the selection process. After the online application is submitted, it will be reviewed and considered by a member in the Crime Prevention Section. If the online application is deemed “competitive”, the applicant will receive an email advising them that they will be moving forward in the selection process. If the online application is deemed “non-competitive”, the applicant will receive an email advising them that there are “other more competitive candidates” in the process, and the application will be closed. Due to the volume of applications, it is not possible to provide specific feedback to unsuccessful applicants.

A response to your application can take several weeks, depending on the time of year, and the recruiting needs of the AbbyPD. Please ensure that you enter the correct information when completing the online application, and ensure that your email address is valid and entered correctly. Email is our primary mode of communicating with applicants during the initial stages of the application/selection process. Be sure that any spam/junk mail filters are set to accept emails from the address. If your personal information or email address changes, it is your responsibility to contact the AbbyPD Crime Prevention Section immediately and provide the updated information. Please be sure to check your email account regularly.

If you have any questions please contact Cst. Steve Kern (Reserve Constable Coordinator) by e-mail at [email protected]
