Abbotsford, BC – June 25th, 2026 - With excessive speeding continuing to concern both residents and the Abbotsford Police Department, AbbyPD’s Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) has been deploying technology such as, "Black Cat” radar units to help officers identify ongoing speed patterns across the city, as part of an intelligence-led strategy to address speeding.

Abbotsford, BC – June 9th, 2026 – During the first five months of this year, the Abbotsford Police Department has responded to 72 business break and enters across the city. For comparison, AbbyPD officers attended 178 such incidents throughout all of 2025.

Abbotsford, BC – June 3rd, 2026 – On May 27th, 2026, 66-year-old Robert Leyen was reported missing to the Abbotsford Police Department. At the time, he was believed to be driving his grey 2009 Ford Ranger. Abbotsford Police investigators immediately initiated an investigation.
