Last night at approximately 5 pm, Abbotsford Patrol Shift 2 officers & Air 1 Helicopter were called to Sumas Mountain in response to an emergency call to E-COMM 9-1-1 from a lost hiker.  The hiker found themselves will low cellular battery and stranded in Sumas Mountain Regional Park after losing daylight.

On Monday, December 28, 2020at approximately 4:30am, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service responded to 9-1-1 calls of a fire in the 2400block of Bradner Road. Upon arrival, firefighters located a trailer on the property fully engulfed in flames.

Abbotsford Police search for suspect in overnight Subway robbery

Last night at 9:54 pm, AbbyPD patrol officers were called to the McMillan Subway for a report of a robbery.  The victim cashier, reported that a male suspect walked into the restaurant and demanded cash.  When the cashier started to open the cash register, the suspect pepper-sprayed her.  She was able to flee from the restaurant and call the police.  Luckily, the victim sustained minor injury which was a result of the pepper spray.

The Abbotsford Police Missing Person Unit is asking the public’s assistance in locating missing person, Gurpreet SINGH, aka Gurpreet Singh Parmar, who was last seen on Thursday, December 10th in the area of Northdale Court and Blueridge Drive.   A request to locate Gurpreet was initially sent out on social media on December 12th, however he has not been located or spoken to yet.
