On October 27th, 2022, at 4:48 pm, Abbotsford Police Patrol Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the 33000 block of South Fraser Way.
Upon arrival, emergency service workers located a 24-year-old female who had been struck by a vehicle. The female was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A thirty-nine-year-old driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. AbbyPD Patrol officers are in the early stages of this investigation, yet speed and impairment are not factors in the collision.
Investigators are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage from those who may have been driving on South Fraser Way between McCallum Rd and Roberts Ave around the time of the collision. If you can assist, please call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
