Two men charged after police find drugs & gun during suspicious vehicle investigation

On March 27, 2021 at 7:41 am, Abbotsford Patrol Officers responded to the 1200 blk of Bowman Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle.  Upon arrival, officers located a heavily damaged vehicle with two males sleeping inside and the officers observed that the passenger had drugs visible on his lap.

Abbotsford Police investigators are investigating a break-and-enter to a residence in the 32900 blk of Bevan Ave in which five very young kittens were taken. These kittens are only 10 days old and need the care of their mom, Mittens.

Abbotsford Police Patrol officers were called to the 32800 block of Marshall Road for a report of theft from auto.  As officers responded to the area, they saw large plumes of smoke and located a fire at an apartment building in the open-air parking lot.

On March 3, 2021 Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a 911 hang up call in the 32300 block of Slocan Drive. An injured male was located and transported to hospital.  The male has since succumbed to his injuries.

The Abbotsford Police Missing Person Unit is asking the public’s assistance in locating Chamkaur Singh BRAR, recently reported missing by his family who have not seen him in over year.  BRAR was last seen at a Medical Clinic on March 11, 2020.  BRAR is known to live a transient lifestyle in the Fraser Valley area, specifically between Abbotsford and Langley.

AbbyPD investigating assault on Keeping Road

Abbotsford Emergency Services were called to the 37000 block of Keeping Road (off Sumas Mountain Road) last night at 7:10 pm for reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located two men who were injured in a physical altercation. Both victims were transported to a hospital BC EHS.  One of the victims has been released, and the other remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
