Abbotsford, BC – April 24th, 2026 – At approximately 6:09 p.m. this evening, Abbotsford Police patrol officers responded to a report of a fire at the Peardonville homeless encampment located on provincial land within the 31500 block of South Fraser Way.

Abbotsford, BC – April 24th, 2026 – During the overnight hours of April 13th and April 15th, two separate fires were deliberately set at Bakerview Centre for Learning. A third fire occurred on April 17th, when a portable classroom at Godson Elementary School was set on fire.

Abbotsford, BC – April 24th, 2026 – In November 2025, Abbotsford Police Department Patrol officers responded to a report of a residential break and enter in progress in the 32500 block of Peardonville Road. As a result of that investigation, 35-year-old Jaskaran Singh was located, arrested and charged with Break & Enter.
