Police investigating fatal crash on Fraser Highway
This morning at 2:20 am, Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a collision in the 30000 block of Fraser Highway.
Upon arrival, emergency service workers located a 37-year-old woman who had been
struck by a pick up truck; and had succumbed to her injuries.
The driver, who reported this crash, remained on scene and is cooperating with the police. He did not sustain any injuries.
AbbyPD Patrol Officers and Collision Reconstructionists continue their investigation this morning; the cause has yet to be determined.
Names will not be released at this time. We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the woman killed in this tragic crash.
