Abbotsford, BC – April 24th, 2026 – In November 2025, Abbotsford Police Department Patrol officers responded to a report of a residential break and enter in progress in the 32500 block of Peardonville Road. As a result of that investigation, 35-year-old Jaskaran Singh was located, arrested and charged with Break & Enter.
Following his release from custody in March of 2026, Mr. Singh was released into another community within the lower mainland under several court-ordered conditions, including 24/7 house arrest.
On April 7th, Abbotsford Police Patrol officers responded to a residential break and enter in the 32600 block of Bevan Avenue, where Mr. Singh was quickly identified as the suspect in this incident.
AbbyPD’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) assumed conduct of the investigation and subsequently located Mr. Singh in the Abbotsford area while he was in violation of his court ordered release conditions. On April 16th, Mr. Singh was arrested by CRU.
Charges of break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, and five counts of breaching a release order have since been approved in connection with the April 7th incident and the arrest on April 16th. Mr.Singh remains in custody.
