AbbyPD Crime Reduction Unit Arrests Prolific Break and Enter Suspect

In October 2023, the AbbyPD Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) began investigating a series of underground break-and-enters, where the suspect was targeting tools, bicycles, and credit/debit cards from within vehicles, which they would later fraudulently use.

These occurrences were of great concern to police due to the substantial impact it was having on victims, their families, and businesses.

Through investigation and surveillance, 42-year-old Sean MILLS was identified and subsequently arrested, with charges being approved for offences that occurred throughout the year as far back as July 2023.

22 charges were approved, which include the following:
Four counts of Break-and-Enter.
Six counts of Theft Under $5000.
One count of Theft of Credit Card.
Seven counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
One count of Fraudulent Use of Credit Card.
One count Possession of Break-in Instruments.
One count of Possession of a Stolen Credit Card and
One count of Possession of Identity Documents.

MILLS is currently in custody, and this matter is before the Courts.
