The Abbotsford Police Department’s interactions with our community will look a little different this Christmas.  In celebration of the season, and to remain connected with (but still physically distanced from!) our amazing community, we will be hosting a Christmas Sprite Community Crossword Challenge!

What is the “Christmas Sprite” Community Crossword Challenge?

The AbbyPD Christmas Sprite will be attending a variety of Christmas activities around Abbotsford and will provide clues to help solve the Crossword Challenge.  Some questions have to do with Christmas - and those you can solve right away.  Others will require additional clues which can be found at some of Abbotsford’s Christmas activities.  Follow our social media hints to complete the Crossword Challenge, then submit your completed puzzle to be entered in a draw.

The challenge is open to anyone who colours their crossword, participates in supporting local Christmas activities, and spreads some cheer!

When does this challenge occur?

The Christmas Challenge runs between December 1 and December 24.  AbbyPD social media posts will direct participants to activities occurring around Abbotsford where the clues can be found. The last clue will be released on December 21.

When your crossword is complete, return it to the Abbotsford Police Department no later than December 24 to be entered in the draw.  You can scan and submit your crossword via email to [email protected], mail it, or deliver it in-person to the Abbotsford Police Department (2838 Justice Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 3P5). If dropping off in-person, Public Service Counter staff are available Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 (staff will meet you at the front door to receive your entry).

On December 29, Constable Cuffs and our Christmas Sprite will draw ten names to win one of ten Christmas Gift Bags.
