Incident:  Stabbing/Aggravated Assault

On July 28, 2019 around 11:00pm, Abbotsford Police responded to an altercation between two people at a homeless camp on Gladys Ave. A male in his early 60’s sustained severe stab wounds and was transported to hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Incident:  Abbotsford Police investigating fatal collision on Sumas Prairie

On July 26, 2019 at 3:27 pm Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a serious collision involving a pick-up truck and SUV at Marion Rd and Wells Line Rd.

At this location, a SUV with one occupant, the driver; and a pick-up truck with three occupants collided.

Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a townhouse complex fire this morning, just before 2:00 am, in the 33000 block of Lynn Ave.  Fire crews extinguished a fire that affected 3 townhouses.  Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of this fire.

Police looking for Lucas Bradwell - wanted for bank robbery

The Abbotsford Police Department is looking for Lucas Bradwell, who is wanted for bank robbery.

At approximately noon on July 2, 2019, a male entered the HSBC on South Fraser Way and provided a note demanding money to the bank teller.  No weapon was produced during the robbery.  The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money, fled from the bank to an awaiting taxi.
