Abbotsford, BC – June 26th, 2025 – On June 23, 2025, at approximately 11:04 a.m., Abbotsford Police Patrol Officers responded to a report of a man armed with a knife in the 32400 block of Emerald Avenue. While enroute, additional callers reported that the man was entering residential yards, approaching occupied vehicles, and appeared to be in an agitated state.

Abbotsford, BC – June 4th, 2025 – Between January 1st and May 1st, 2025, the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) has observed a 67% increase in property crime in the Sumas Prairie area compared to the same period in 2024.
Through an intelligence-led approach, AbbyPD has identified several repeat prolific property offenders believed to be actively involved in the recent surge in criminal activity within the area.
