Missing Person- Have you seen Chase Bodell?

The Abbotsford Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Chase Bodell. All attempts to locate him to this point have been unsuccessful and police are concerned about his wellbeing.

Chase was last seen at about 7:30 am on March 15th, 2022, at a residence in the 36100 block of Lower Sumas Mountain Road. It is believed that he left on foot and has no cell phone or vehicle. Chase’s whereabouts are unknown, but he is an avid hiker and is known to frequent the Sumas Mountain hiking trails.

Chase is described as 5’9, 170lbs, has short brown hair and wears eyeglasses. Chase was last seen wearing a 2-tone, half purple and half white hoody with ‘Vans’ written on the chest, as pictured in the attached photograph. Police believe Chase may be wearing size 10, black Nike shoes with a red Nike ‘swoosh’ symbol. 

The AbbyPD General Investigation Section will continue to investigate. The Police Services Air 1 Helicopter and Search and Rescue are currently assisting with the search. We are asking that anyone with information about Chase or believe they located him, to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or text APD at 222973 (abbypd).
