Block Watch
Block Watch involves the community being alert as a part of their every day life. The Block Watch program involves two commitments from the community: the first is to be concerned with the neighbours property as they are their own; and the second is to report suspicious criminal activity to the police and to other neighbours.
The Aims and Objectives of the program are:
- Reduce residential crime.
- Improve police and public relations by "working together."
- Establish a sense of community within neighbourhoods.
- Make our communities a better place to live, work and raise our children.
